Radafest defined.... Family, Food, Fun, and Sun!
Each year we(my dad's side of the family, the Radabaugh's) gather at my Aunt and Uncle's adorable cottage on Torch Lake. This is always bitter sweet. We look forward to this weekend all summer, but when it finally arrives we know that summer is almost over, and fall is just around the corner! Never the less, we soak up all that summer, and the lake, have to offer!
This year we held our first annual Radafest tshirt contest.
Phil and I played our entry off of the Master Card commercials, and chose a picture of my Grandpa Herbie for the front. My Aunt had a very official panel of judges, and after an extra tie breaking judge had to be brought in..we came out with this years winning design! Thanks again Aunt Lori for organizing the contest, it was a lot of fun!! :)

Now that the girls are a little older, and more independent in the water, we decided to spend an afternoon at the sand bar. Boats come from all over the lake and anchor to this hot spot! There's even a pontoon boat that sells burgers and drinks!
This isn't our dog, but I thought it was hilarious!! I had to share it! :)
Besides Frisbee, this is one of the popular scenes at the sand bar. Everyone anchors there rafts, or blow up mattresses in our case, and just soaks up the sun!
I love this picture! Not only does it show off the amazing colors of the lake, but it also showcases my dad's new butterfly tattoo! :) Compliments of the girls around 7:00am while he was still sleeping!!!
Emma enjoyed her first full can of Diet Coke! Uncle Robby was so proud!!
Another tradition at Torch Lake is the "dive!" My Uncle takes the boat out until it's about 200 ft. deep, and everyone jumps off the back. Emma and I initially just went along for the ride, but of course we ended up in the water!

The sun was hot, and the water was refreshing...perfect combination!
