{Video's to Share}

Emma and her friend Natalie reciting the books of the bible together!! Don't forget to pause the music in the green box below!!! I know I tell you that all the time...just a reminder! :)

Emma told me she was singing a solo a few weeks before her program. But she wouldn't tell anyone what song she was going to sing. She even kept the WHOLE thing from my mom and dad. So they didn't even know she was going to sing until she was up a the mic. all by herself!! She did a wonderful job...and obviously we're pretty proud of her!! :)

{Kindergarten Graduation}

Friday was Emma's Graduation from Kindergarten!!! It was a bittersweet day. While Emma was SO excited for her program...I was an emotional wreck!! For some reason the thought of Emma being finished with Kindergarten is MUCH more emotional for me than back when she started in the fall. My little girl is going to be in school ALL DAY...EVERYDAY next year!!!! She's growing up...and I'm not sure I'm ready for it!!! :)
Enjoy some of the pictures from our special day!!
Emma and her friend Natalie. They recited all 66 books of the bible together during the program!!! Great job girls!!! :)

And then my little girl got up in front of everyone and sang a solo!!!
The waterworks just kept coming!!! Luckily I wasn't the only mom who couldn't keep it together!! :)

Emma and her teacher Mrs. Rus!
This woman is amazing!!!
She is the most gifted teacher I have ever met.
We feel very blessed that Emma was able to have her this year.
I wish she could just follow Emma around and teacher her every year!!!
Someone made these adorable cookies for each of the kiddos! :)

{Field Trip}

Emma's class recently went on their last field trip of the year!! We packed a lunch and headed to St. Joe. We had a picnic by Lake Michigan, and then went to a local children's museum. It was a fun ending to a fantastic year!!!

The Local News reporters... :)
And last...face painting!!! We were a little bummed that there weren't professionals around to do the face painting. Phil gave it a try... And of course Maddie wanted a butterfly! :)
Emma kept it simple for me...
A cat, I can do...a butterfly, not so much!!! :)

{Sports-A-Thon}

Emma's school does a fun-fundraiser every year in the spring!!! The kids gather pledges from relatives and friends, and then ride around the school parking lot for 2 hours. Emma did 67 laps...which isn't bad considering the kindergartners had to work twice as hard with their little training wheels!!!! :)Maddie helped me count laps! :)
Water break!!

This was my "team!"
I helped keep track of their laps for the afternoon.
Yummy treats after a long afternoon of riding!

{Hey...Goat}

A few weeks ago we went down to Indiana to visit some friends. They live on a cute little farm, and have chickens, a cow, a horse, and Phil's favorite...goats!!! :)
Phil took this opportunity to live out his life long dream of milking goats!!! :)
First he wined and dined her....
Then...he started gettin' friendly...
:)
She agreed to take a picture with him...but she wouldn't look him in the eyes!! :)
Thanks Coughlin's for a fun afternoon!
