Fun @ the Fair

It's the first sign of fall.....The Centreville Fair! My family has been going to this fair...well..as long as I can remember! And it's been fun to watch my girls enjoy the same fun fair festivities as I did growing up! :)

Emma walks up and yells "Hey Goats"....Daddy and P.Sayers should be proud! :)

Ahhhh...the power of the unlimited rides wristband!

This monkey use to tip his hat for pennies when I was a kid...now he only takes $5.00 bills...just kidding! But there was a sign that said "no pennies" :( I think these sheep were trying to jump the fence for some yummy elephant ears across the street! :)

I love to people watch when I'm at the fair! :) This year we saw two extremely interesting folks! And.. although they weren't sporting the ever popular mullet hairstyle...they were fun to watch!
This guy here...was talking on his cell phone, AND his camera... at the same time!! There must be some cool camera out there I don't even know about!! :)
And this lady was wiping horse poo off her bare feet with a wet wipe...The fair brings out the best in everyone! :)
Maddie's favorite ride!
Coley and Maddie on the Merry -Go -Round (that I think was accidently on turbo speed!) It was the fastest ride in the kiddie park! :)
The girls rode the Fun Slide all by themselves this year!!

Phil working the ladies for a little extra powdered sugar! :)
Yummy!!!
Coley and Emma gettin' their thrill on....
And of course Maddie sweet talked Bampa into some cotton candy before we left! :)

Thanks for another year of fun memories @ the fair Mom and Dad!
We look forward to next year...maybe the karaoke stand will be back! :)

Happy 6th Birthday LuLu!! :)

Emma celebrated her 6th birthday on Sat.
We had a little family party in the backyard.

Auntie Liz and Uncle Phil...Thanks for the adorable pillow!!!!
Emma opened this present and thought she was getting an exercise ball...which she thought was extremely funny...but she liked it!!!!
Until we convinced her to open the box...and she found something even more exciting!!!!
Her and Maddie have been asking for walkie-talkies for a while now! Thanks Nana and Bampa! :)
Emma wanted to have a "littlest pet shop" themed birthday this year! Everyone ran with the idea! :)
Here she is with all her LPS loot!
Sweet, silly Grace giving me her "best" smiles of the evening! :)
I love this girl!!!!!

Pinata time!!!
Phil HAD to take a swing...to keep things moving...of course! :)

Happy Birthday Sweets!!! We love you!

Random Fun!!

I got this really cute idea from a friend! Instead of curlers you twist hair around your socks and then tie the ends together. The girls loved it! And thought is was hilarious that they had socks in their hair! :) Maddie was a trooper and kept hers in all night. Emma, on the other hand, woke up in the middle of the night crying to take them out!!
Maddie was so excited to take the socks out and see all her curls! They turned out so cute....and stayed in all day!!
A few weeks ago...before I went to bed...I went to check on the girls and this is what I found!
Oh Max...you spoiled cat!!!!

Go Purple Fish! :)

Emma had her first AYSO soccer "game" last Saturday!
She looked all grown up in her cute little uniform! Phil and the girls getting a little practice in before the game!

Game On!!
Emma scored the first goal of her first game!!
There are 6 girls on Emma's team.
They met last month for a informal practice, and their coach let them choose their team name....Purple Fish!
Emma talking over a play with Coach Brian! :)

Maddie staring longingly at the concession stand! :)
She's so stinkin' cute!!!

Emma had some sweet defensive moves! :)
On three... "Purple Fish!!!!"
We're looking forward to her next game this sat. @ 12:30

Maddie's Day

Yesterday I took Maddie back to her old stoppin' grounds for her last year of preschool! She was really excited to see Mrs. Modderman again, and catch up with old friends! :)

I have taken a picture of both the girls by this tree at the beginning and end of each year! It's fun to look back later and see how they've grown over the year! Maddie was surprisingly smiley this morning...so I took full advantage with the camera!

The one and only.... Mrs. Modderman!

They got started right away! Coloring is one of Maddie's strongest subjects...we look forward to her excelling in it this year. Who knows...maybe she'll even take some AP coloring courses later this year!! :)
Maddie and her boyz! :)
She will be well taken care of this year!
Tyler and Eli (friends from church)
Again...hamming it up for the camera???
I don't know what got into this child today....but I like it!! She actually WANTED me to take her picture!! :)
