A few weeks ago Phil and I took the girls on a little "mystery trip." We've been planning this trip for a while now...we were able to pack etc..without them even having a clue!! We told them we were going out for dinner one night and then gave them clues as to where we were going. It was SO fun!! Sorry my pictures are small this time around...I was going to try and be extra creative with my layout...but it didn't quite work out that way!! So hopefully you can still get a little glimpse into our fun getaway!
The first stop was at the BPS in Indiana. This a good stopping point when we are headed over to Wisconsin to visit family...so we always take a quick potty break, and of course...do a little shopping! :) As soon as we pulled in Emma knew we were headed to Milwaukee to visit cousins...you can't pull one past that child!! :)
We stayed in Milwaukee for two nights. Friday night the girls hung out with Aunt Carrie, Uncle Jason, Caleb and Allison...they enjoyed a fun night at Chuck E. Cheese, and then a sleep over!!!
Phil and I met up with his Aunt and Uncle for a tour of the Sprecher Brewery.
We had a lot of fun tasting all the different kinds of "soda" (that's "Milwaukeese" for Pop!!)
They make a killer Root Beer!!! We had to remind Phil that he WAS driving home...unlimited "soda" samples can be dangerous! :)
We picked up the girls early Saturday morning and headed to our next surprise. The girls weren't able to guess this one...but they were excited when we finally got there!! :)
They spotted this store right away...but Phil made them wait until Sunday to check it out!! It was 3 floors, and they needed something to look forward to!

We finally settled on R2D2...I wanted her to get Chewy..oh well! :)

Sunday afternoon we headed back to Wisconsin for a our last surprise! We gave the girls clues along the way...and then Phil broke down and told Maddie where we were going...and of course she can't keep a secret so needless to say..they couldn't' wait for the 4 hour drive to end!!!

They have 2 separate water parks, and a wave pool!!!

Looks like you guys had a really good time Ams - the girls look so happy!!!! The "Mystery Trip" thing was cute.... I'll have to keep that in mind for the future!:)
Amber, you and Phil are the coolest parents! :) I love that you did the whole thing as a surprise with clues. Your girls are going to remember that trip forever. SO fun!!

I love the pics. Hey, we have a new LEGO store at concord mills and they just opened a great wolf lodge right there too- do I hear road trip???
