Max...Our New Cat

My Aunt and Uncle graciously gave us our new pet. He came to my Aunt's office, long story short he and their other cat didn't hit it off, so it was in need of a good home. Phil, being the animal lover he is (maybe a new tid bit of info for some of you..he'll deny it, but he is :) decided we needed to have this cat be part of our family.

After Phil explained that we could NOT name a boy cat Genevieve or Princess Annalise

Emma decided on Max, from one of her favorite books Where the Wild Things Are (actually I think it was one of the only books she could think of that had a male character).

His full name is Max, King of the wild things :)

He is a great cat. Mostly hangs out on our bed, but loves to have us pet him!!! He's still getting familiar with the house, Maddie's high pitched voice, etc... :) We love him, and are so thankful that we were able to help him and my Aunt & Uncle out!
