Emma had the privilege of representing HCA (1st Grade) in Poetry at the ACSI Speech Meet.
She and her "friend-that's-a-boy" Scotty, were asked to recite their piece again in front of judges and a small audience. There was not an "overall" winner for the meet. It was of a "personal best" type thing :)
We traveled to the booming metropolis {sarcasm} of Watervliet, Michigan.
Heritage Christian Academy Speech Meet participants:
Emma received a ribbon for Excellence... She did GREAT!!! :)
Scotty was also awarded for Excellence in his Bible memorization!!
